Public records include meeting minutes, financial and other reports obtained from the township, school district, and sewer authority.

Disclaimer: Conewago Online has prepared these computer file versions of public records. The formatting may be different from the original, page numbering may have been removed, and hotlinks added where other documents that are available on-line are referenced. Recently CO has been able to obtain many records in their original computer file format. For older documents, the computer file versions were prepared from paper copies using OCR software. Transcription errors are possible and accuracy is not guaranteed. For an official copy of these documents, see the appropriate government office.

Please be aware that some documents (the Act 537 Plan, The Comprehensive Plan, The Parks and Rec Plan) are rather large (50-200 pages) and may take a long time to download on a slow (dial-up) internet connection.

What are the different formats?
pdf is a common computer file format that preserves the layout and appearance of the original document. You must have the Adobe Reader program on your computer to read it. Click here to download the Adobe Reader. This is a good choice if you want to read or print the document. The zoom feature is particularly useful for blowing up sections of maps. Effective July 2006, the pdf format will be the standard file format for new public records on Conewago Online.
html is small and fast, the standard web page format. It does not preserve the page layout of the original document. No extra program is needed to read html format. This is the best choice if you just want to read the document on-line. This format continues to be used for the Supervisors Agenda because it allow clickable links to other documents
doc is the popular MS Word word processing program format. Many original documents are prepared using this program. This is a good choice for reading or printing a formatted document. Click here to download MS Word Viewer.
Text is the smallest file format and fastest to download if you have a slow internet connection, but it does not preserve the page layout of the original document. No extra program is needed to read Text format.
MS Excel is a popular spreadsheet in which certain documents (like budgets) that are mainly numbers are prepared. The 1997 Version or later is needed. Click here to download MS Excel Viewer.

Click on your choice of file format next to the meeting date: html, doc, pdf, or Text. If you don't know which to choose, pick html if available. If you get a browser error message when trying to read a file, please contact the webmaster.

Board of Supervisors Meetings

The Agenda usually has links to other documents handed out at the meeting.
The CO Report is usually available 1 day after the meeting.
The official Minutes are usually not available until the next month's meeting.
